Join us at the Monroe Theatre June 27th at 11:00 for our Summer Reading Movie. We will be having ocean adventures with the  Wild Kratz and Reading Rainbow. This event is for all children ages Birth - 6th grade that are participating in the Summer Reading Program. If you haven't joined you can still sign up!! Can't wait to see all the kids there!

Summer Reading participants join us June 21st at the Monroe Theater 11:00AM for a presentation from the Schrader Environmental Education Center. This is an interactive program that includes stories, games, and hand-on opportunities to examine real ocean artifacts. We can't wait to see everyone there! If you haven't registered it's not too late. This program is for children ages Birth through 6th grade.

Summer reading kids join us July 11th, 11:00AM at the Monroe Theatre. Broken Timber will be hosting a program and talking about Ohio's ponds, lakes, rivers and creeks. They will also discuss trapping, fishing and litter control. Can't wait to see everyone there. If you haven't registered you still can. This program is for any child ages Birth thru 6th grade.

Summer Reading participants join us July 18th, 11:00AM at the Monroe Theatre. Oceanographer Tim Mavor. Tim has worked as an oceanographer for the US Navy and he has been hurricane hunting! Join us as he shares some photos and satellite imagery of his adventures with us. If you haven't registered you still can. Our program is for children ages Birth thru 6th grade

Today is the last day to write down your summer reading book titles before the end party.

PARTY DAY!!!! Congratulations to everyone that completed the Summer Reading Program!! Join us for some ice cream and collect your prizes!! This is ONLY for children who completed the Summer Reading Program. This event is held at the Library.

This is the last day that kids can pick up their prizes from the Summer Reading Program.

Join us at the Monroe County Fairgrounds Aug. 22, 2022 from 6:30PM-8:30PM. We will have an amazing race, scavenger hunt, photo booth and more. Fun for the whole family!!

1. Program will run from September 1, 2022 - December 9, 2022.

2. List of 14 topics will be provided, you choose the books to read!

3. Check out and Read 8 books from the list.

4. Keep a list of books read.

5. We will have a fun Holiday get-together on December 9, 2022, where we talk about all the fun things we read & completed during the program!

6. While this program is geared toward our adult patrons, there is no reason why it can't be incorporated to include our teen patrons as well!

We will be holding our Fall Book Sale Oct.3rd - Oct 15th during regular business hours. Price of books will be by donation. Hope to see everyone there!
